Events and Rides

Join us for a DECEMBER ride. For those of us not going anywhere we would like to have some fun on the three Wednesday afternoons in December, 7, 14, 21 DECEMBER.

Rides will leave the Touratech shop at 12.30pm. If you are going to be late let us know and you can meet us on-route.

Rides will be not more than a 80km radius from our shop, so we should be home by 5pm. Rides will be green to orange and road tyres should do fine UNLESS it rains -then you will need to have some knobblies and orange route will become red. (or brown due to mud!)

The rides will be on gravel roads, and depending on venue we could do some NICE sandy sections.

No cost for joining the rides, but there might be costs if we enter a riding venue or buy some cool drinks. These cost are for your own account. You will be notified upfront where we go. You need to be self sufficient, regarding tools, and tyrerepair kits, as there will be no backup vehicle. Only another bike with a tow-rope!

PLEASE bring along a Camelback if you have, or water somewhere on the bike. Decembers are hot and we do not want you dehydrating. We might have a medic with us - we will do our best - these will not be rides showing us how windgat you can be.

We will encounter some technical sections but nothing you will find on a red route unless it starts to rain. Then a new set off rules will be applied andknobblies will on the order of the day. - if you are feeling good on Anakees, please join in!
